A little over a year ago today, Justin Trudeau joined the NDP and Green Parties in making an historic promise: "We will make every vote count." Together those parties represent 63% of voters.

Justin Trudeau has said FPTP is gone. Now is the time to make sure we get a proportional system that will fix the problems and treat all citizens and their representatives fairly.

Justin Trudeau has said FPTP is gone. Now is the time to make sure we get a proportional system that will fix the problems and treat all citizens and their representatives fairly.

Between now and October 14 MPs have been invited to hold town halls in their ridings about electoral reform. The feedback they receive at these town halls will be delivered back to the electoral reform committee. Our feedback WILL influence their decision.

One of the most important things we can do right now is to show up at the town halls!

Simply fill in your information on the letter provided and send it to your MP. In addition to being our eyes and ears in every riding, receiving many emails like this lets MPs know how important making every vote count is to their constituents.

Together, through years of hard work, we have a firm promise by our federal government to deliver an electoral system which makes every vote count in 2019.

MPs have been invited to hold town halls in their ridings about electoral reform and report the feedback to the electoral reform committee. One of the most important things we can do now is to show up at the town halls!

Do Gooder (the advocacy platform powering this online action) processes personal information from you that you enter on this form so that we can provide the functions and related services to you and The Campaigner (the organisation responsible for this online action) for their legitimate purposes, including possibly exporting it to other systems, and to effectively respond to enquiries and communications related to those services.

Specifically when you enter:

  • Your location data (residential address or postcode) it is used to locate your elected representative, to pre-populate your email signature and to provide The Campaigner with a visualisation of the location of the support for this campaign.

  • All other data you may enter, including your email address, name, telephone number, commentary and so on is used by The Campaigner to advocate for the campaign’s goals and where required may be sent to the target of the campaign.
