Just tell them you are a constituent, and you are calling to ask the MP to vote for M-86 for a non-partisan Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform.

You can add anything else you want (but you don't have to).

With these MPs, please focus on support for Motion M-86 for a non-partisan citizens' assembly to engage citizens in democracy, and to look at electoral reform, not on proportional representation.

Over the past year, we’ve made incredible progress together building support to win this vote.

Both the Liberals and the NDP passed resolutions at their conventions making a Citizens’ Assembly on Electoral Reform official party policy (the Greens were already supportive).

Motion M-86 got the maximum 20 seconders and has support from MPs from all parties.

Now it’s down to the wire. Winning this vote could come down to whether enough MPs know their constituents care, and whether those MPs will speak up to colleagues in their parties.

Let's end the cycle of “majority” governments with 39% of the vote.

Please call your MP and ask them to support Motion M-86.
